What if Trump and Pence catch Covid?

Both Spence and Trump have not complied with precautions required of others, for example they have not worn masks in hospitals where they are required.

This has raised an interesting possibility – what if Pence catches Covid and passes it on to Trump, and that puts both of them out of action?

It could happen anyway without Pence going to the White House, as his press secretary is the partner of a senior Trump adviser.

The Presidential line of succession put’s the speaker of the House of Representatives next in line to assume the powers and duties of the office of president of the United States if the incumbent president becomes incapacitated, dies, resigns, or is removed from office.

The current Speaker of the United States House of Representatives is Democrat Nancy Pelosi. Trump should be happy to see here take over in his White House office if he’s off colour for a few weeks.

Boris Johnson took time out from leading the UK when he nearly died in hospital from Covid-19.

What if Trump and Pence catch Covid?

One can but hope. I’d prefer just Trump to get it; & Pence to avoid him like the plague until he recovers, but he probably wouldn’t dare.

Is an acting President able to give all sorts of pardons to criminals and rip up papers of those in the pipeline to be approved? Or rescind other pardons?

There’s probably a line to be used about ‘quid pro Pelosi’. Donald spilled the beans on Executive Orders and now everybody knows.

Yes, quite amusing that. And very typical Trump. But remember – when he’s talking to his “base”, that will include a lot of low IQ conservative Republicans who actually “don’t know shit” as Americans say & who believe whatever that lifelong bullshit artist & con man says.

Have you seen any of our politicians including Jacinda wearing masks? I just love the hypocrisy. When there was a shortage of masks they weren’t necessary according to Jacinda, now they are!

Really, you think Trump would be happy with a demented shrew like Nancy Pelosi in the White House? You forgot the sarc tag!

Is that a sexist comment I detect? “Pelosi is a demented shrew.” By any comparison with the incumbent she does not have the demented bit on her own.

But she’s a ‘shrew, a bad-tempered or aggressively assertive woman.’

Is there a particular word for a bad-tempered or aggressively assertive male? One to encapsulate some of the other ways of Trump including the narcissism? A word more scientific, like ‘shrew’ rather than just saying ‘arsehole.’

The argument is not relevant because Pete didn’t make that comment about a man. He made it about a specific woman, who is demonstrably unstable. I don’t need to comment about Trump. There are enough people here who do that almost daily. Not everything needs to be equated to Trump. She can just be crackers in her own right.

I couldn’t find Pete making any comment or judgement about Pelosi past, “The current Speaker of the United States House of Representatives is Democrat Nancy Pelosi. Trump should be happy to see here take over in his White House office if he’s off colour for a few weeks.”

You reckon he forgot the sarc tag. I assumed he thought he didn’t need it.
You introduced the judgemental stuff about Pelosi. Being demented is not an impediment to being President.

I don’t think being a shrew should be an impediment either. Being perfectly ‘crackers in your own right’ the same.

Call it as you see it.

You say Nancy Pelosi is a demented shrew and expect it to be accepted. I guess if there’s nothing rational offered to justify your notion and what it means there’s no argument or discussion.

I always call things as I see them. What other way is there?
I don’t expect anything to be accepted. All you need to do is watch Pelosi’s televised appearances. She is practically incoherent and driven by blind hate.
