/ 21st July 2020Will the National Party have anyone left by the election, and what’s the next scandal??
David
/ 21st July 2020Devil worshipping, virgin sacrifices who knows but for gods sake I wish they would behave like normal adults.
lurcher1948
/ 21st July 2020Nothing wrong with devil worshipping and as for virgins, could be a real struggle finding one these days for a good old fashioned sacrifice
Jack
/ 21st July 2020Pete, I publicly ask you to delete Lurcher’s comment. That is offensive in the extreme. (The derogatory toward virgins. I’m not concerned about the devil bit.) With Kiwis around like Lurch, no wonder we’re a country on tenterhooks.
Jack
/ 21st July 2020That is digital harm. For any virgins who have been raped, Lurcher’s comment is harmful. Not directed at anyone in particular but such bad taste that it gives the impression Kiwis only want immoral representation in Parliament, just so they can continue dragging us all down. Look what sort of comment this is in context of the posts today.
Alan Wilkinson
/ 21st July 2020Too serious, Jack. It’s not derogatory towards virgins to say there are not many of them. Might be untrue or in some people’s eyes derogatory to those who they think should be virgins.
My view is virginity is no-one’s business but its owner.
Jack
/ 21st July 2020Muddy, Alan.
Lurch said ‘good old sacrifice’.
(I agree that virginity is not a taboo subject.)
It is digital harm. In the context of today’s discussions, it is most certainly that. Or is this a site which only regulars can stomach? Hardly encouraging of free speech. More virgins might arrive for Lurch to joke darkly about if free speech was not so discouraged here.
Yes, I’m serious, but not too serious. And not unjokey as Lurch is.
Kitty Catkin
/ 21st July 2020It wasn’t in good taste, but the idea that someone who was a virgin rape victim might chance upon it and be traumatised is giving it far too much importance.
I find the idea that I, as a Kiwi, only want immoral representation in Parliament very insulting indeed. It’s insulting to MPs and voters alike. It makes you look sanctimonious for saying it.

/ 21st July 2020Wendy or Simon?
They’re retaining Simon, but to me, he comes across on television with zero personality.
I prefer Wendy!

/ 21st July 2020The woke Left will go beserk. Enter Alison Mau to sock it to us…??!!
Gezza
/ 21st July 2020I think Simon knows more Te Reo. And why do we need our news presenters to have a bubbly personality?
Melissa Stokes is the sole anchor on the weekends & does most fill ins. Her excitable shrieky personality is injected into the news presentation a bit too much for my liking.
But I like Wendy Petrie. It’s a shame they broke up a pretty good working combo.

/ 21st July 2020One’s weather man is one of the reasons I don’t watch One News. The extra time they spend on sport is the other. The news on both seems about the same in quality..
MaureenW
/ 21st July 2020Certainly agree about the weatherman
Jack
/ 21st July 2020Darn. I wanted to say this –
[Deleted, don’t mak accusations of connections with no evidence.]
My post is living proof of how idiotic and cowardly Kiwis are. I said that to Pete, with a bit of a Boohoo, I’m ashamed to say.
Cheers.
Thanks for trying, not.
