Ardern wants no scrutiny of her performance outside of Covid and she knows if she mentions any new policy outside of dolloping cash then inevitably there will be questions on her inability to deliver.
The campaign is one of the oddest I can remember with a total lack of policy and ambition, Ardern is just stealing Nationals policies… like Key did to Labour. She is just sitting right in the middle which I dont really mind so its probably working.

Here you go Lurchy. Light the candles at your shrine and worship to this rendition of: isn’t ‘She Lovley.’ The guitar is a McPherson Carbon Fibre model meant for hard knocks and imperviousness to weather. Yet it still manages to sound better than many top end geetars.
McPherson make the best acoustic guitars in my opinion. It’s a pity after the election I will not be able to afford one because my money will be going to the gummint.

Havent watched TV1 for 5 plus years now, I see it in the gym thankfully with the sound down but I look at the line up and its a nope from me. John Campbell is more activist than journalist and the Green MP he hosts with is probably not really fair and balanced either.
Pleased they make a show just for you Lurcher though.

      • I can never see the point of a television with the sound off. It’s an irritating distraction and unless people can lipread, why would they want to look at it ?

          • If that’s how you feel, that’s up to you. I no longer believe everything I see on the news and google or read in the paper. You must have a more trusting nature.

4 people must be mindless enough to gawp at a silent screen; too bizarre. Why would anyone do this ?

Australia 12 deaths per million,New Zealand 4 deaths per million, what party wants the borders thrown open, hint it’s not Labour

    Reply
    • How often do you have to be told that no one wants this ? We have NEVER had open borders. NO PARTY is wanting it. That is a fabrication,

The idea that restrictions be loosened to allow skilled workers and people who could contribute to rebuiilding the damage done to the economy by the PM putting instinct ahead of science and evidence has now been mooted by her as if it was her own idea.

John Key did not say that the borders should be thrown open; why do you keep repeating this lie ?

You might as well say that the PM wants this, as she is now parroting his words & ideas as if they were her own. Is she wanting to bring C19 in ? If John Key and ACT, according to you, want to throw open the borders (news to them that they said this) and ‘bring death in’, why are you not abusing the PM for saying that restrictions could be lifted ? Is C19 not going to come in because it’s her and not them easing the restrictions ?

Judith was interviewed on ZB TALK BACK.

1- New tenancy legislation will be scrapped.

2- Race based hospital waiting lists will be gone.

3- Insurance may have to be displayed on rego stickers ( not too sure about that)

5- Businesses that can now only claim back $5000 in taxes for new equipment etc, will be
    able to claim back $150,000.

As one talkback caller said: ” I always thought Collins was a bully…but we got clear answers.”

But of course. It’s called having a plan and real world experience, and not having to rely on experts and winging it.

Judith also went over some of the work National and the Maori Party had worked hard on to improve Maori stats and the lower class in general. All that work was thrown out the minute Jacinda came to power. Nothing stands in the way of socialist ideology. If it in any way enlightens the ‘have nots’, it’s thrown straight on the scrap heap. Enlightened people don’t vote Left.

Well, it’s not tiny asset wise. But you are right, it’s dwindling under Labour. However, I’m prepared to take my lumps because I know the future that awaits Jacinda and Labour. They will be punished severely for taking from the rich and giving to deadbeats.

They don’t appear on his show because he is an old school jurno…he calls bs straightaway. Labour MPs can’t live in such an environment.

Corky the difference between Ms Collins and PM Jacinda Ardern….Ms Collins has a hard heart and under National CHILDREN will go up chimneys to clean them,Under Labour and PM Jacinda Ardern, Jacinda Ardern would ban chimneys and suggest heat pumps and renewable energy, its a difference in age, ancient and modern,

Yeah, heat pumps. The lower classes love them. Go into their homes on a chilly morning and you could grow tropical flowers. The problems is 22 degrees celsius is the sweet spot regarding heating and economy. These folk prefer 25-27 degrees. And so the huge power bills keep them poor, and voting for Labour. Labour isn’t about breaking the cycle.

      • Lurch hasn’t realised that children haven’t been chimney sweeps since the mid 19th century.

Corky doesn’t know that class and money are not related. There are poor aristocrats, and wealthy lower class people.

Having money does NOT change one’s class.
