Her halo is made of brass, not gold.

Why the fear of Aucklanders if you still believe that the PM can do a damned thing about this virus? She didn’t even know that the MoH was telling 700,000 people to be tested.

            • Anyway, Lurch, as an over-70, you should be obeying your leader’s order to STAY HOME !!!!!!!! which was issued to people your age and not going out in public, even to the supermarket.

            • Wake up, PDTs, the PM ordered all over 70s to STAY HOME after she heard of one who went to the supermarket (and was later threatened with having her tyres slashed by her neighbour, a nurse, if she was seen going to the car again) This woman praised the seniors’ priority at the supermarket, said how nice it was to be out of the house….and was scolded as if she was a naughty child.

Any proof of that or is it just that at the moment one has to be an ally and one needs to acknowledge their privilege and do better.

Joe Biden came out of his basement yesterday, polling must be looking grim, to fly on his plane to Philadelphia and make a 12 minute speech with the requisite number of gaffes and then without taking any media questions hopped back on his plane and went back into his basement.
The speech which condemned violence didnt manage to mention Antifa or BLM but he said he would fix it, lets not mention the rioting that happened when he was VP that he failed to quell and then 2 hours later Democrat run Portland was on fire again.
You would think Joe if the violence is a problem you might want to get your local Democrat run areas to sort it out, forget the destruction look at what its doing to your polling.

What happens when the vile behaviour of the Left is allowed to go unchallenged and unridiculed. This reality is why Trump will win in November.

Can anyone explain why there are more than two lockdown levels?

Either there is community transmission or there isn’t. If there is then the R level needs to be below one otherwise it doesn’t.

As usual, the system makes no sense except for frightening the public into submission.

Same reason there are multiple mask-wearing rules. “Because we know masks work”, says Jacinda. Kids under 12 don’t have to wear them, yet they can have little or no symptoms and be carriers to the more vulnerable.

      Reply
      • The age of the kids who need to wear them goes up and down like a tart’s knickers, too. Under 12s don’t need them, then under 8s don’t…what next ?

Not convinced much of the public needs frightening into submission, they’re lining up waiting for their next instruction to follow in the name of public health. How to make a mask at home with old panties?.Be safe and be kind, stay home and don’t come out of your box, and if you do happen to go somewhere, please track yourself.

        • You can make two masks from one pair of Bendon cotton knickers; just cut two rectangles from the back and front. Trim the excess fabric from the leg elastic and use it for the ear pieces. Hem the three sides that don’t have the waist elastic, attach the ear bits, chuck out the scraps as they are too small to do much with. Free masks.

The stay safe and be kind messages are nonsense and have become meaningless. C19 acts as a mirror or magnifying glass. The kind will still be kind, the callous & selfish will be as callous & selfish as before.

You should own the fact that you find him attractive.

The fact that he is an incarcerated ,drug dealer should have no relevance in that….equation.

            • Why should I ‘own’ such a thing ? I can’t even remember what he looked like. It’s been several years. I have other, more important and interesting things to think about.

If you want to be obsessed with a throwaway comment that you think you remember being made several years ago, that’s your problem, not mine. You are coming across as rather creepy, not for the first time.

If you are incapable of seeing the pun on the words knickers and picknickers, I can’t be bothered to explain it to you. Spelling out the meaning of a wordplay is pointless as the witless won’t understand it. Or are you being a spiteful wet blanket ?

Do you mean ‘did I SEE it on the news’ ?

“U.S. says it won’t join WHO-linked effort to develop, distribute coronavirus vaccine.”

“More than 170 countries are in talks to participate in the Covid-19 Vaccines Global Access (Covax) Facility, which aims to speed vaccine development, secure doses for all countries and distribute them to the most high-risk segment of each population.
The plan, which is co-led by the WHO, the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations and Gavi, the vaccine alliance, was of interest to some members of the Trump administration and is backed by traditional U.S. allies, including Japan, Germany and the European Commission, the executive arm of the European Union.

But the United States will not participate, in part because the White House does not want to work with the WHO, which President Trump has criticized over what he characterized as its “China-centric” response to the pandemic.”

Trump is right not to work with the WHO, which is a useless corrupt organization largely funded by Bill Gates, the vaccine pusher who wants to reduce the world population – and what better way to do it than through one of his vaccines. Don’t forget, Bill can’t keep viruses out of Windows – so why would anyone trust his vaccines to protect them against a virus?

Is it possible that New Zealand could develop the vaccine before others? We undoubtedly have the expertise. Do we have the mass of expertise? Do we have the mass of expertise available to be involved in only that work? If we develop it before others have we the capacity to manufacture ample quantities?

We could. I was reacting to ‘I hope we follow suit and get our own rather than wait for the WHO to shag around for months.’ It’s actually a bit of a process. Saying we should do our own, get our own is really easy. Money doesn’t necessarily determine success but there is stuff going on all over which makes our effort seem small. Then again, we are a small country.

“The Government will spend an undisclosed sum in the hundreds of millions of dollars securing a Covid-19 vaccine for New Zealand.”

“Federal spending on COVID-19 vaccine candidates tops $9US billion, spread among 7 companies.”

“EU states back spending up to $2.7US billion upfront on COVID-19 vaccines.”

            And so on.

“Collins told her MP’s to remove it and claimed she hadn’t signed off on it and hadn’t even seen it.
